What started as a vision is becoming a reality—brick by brick, beam by beam, and heart by heart. Thanks to your support, The Bridge Center is transforming into a vibrant community hub for Pelican Rapids. Each space is designed to reflect our cultures, meet real needs, and bring people together. Below are updates on each part of the build-out and how it will soon serve the community we love.

The Bridge Center COMING SOON!

Community Gathering Space

Our gathering space will be versatile and accessible venue for events of all sizes, including art shows, weddings, cultural nights, potlucks, town halls, and celebrations. It’s where people come together to connect, learn, and build community.

Family Resource Center

The Family Resource Center will be safe and welcoming space where families can access culturally relevant support, encompassing a range of services, including parenting guidance, mental health referrals, legal assistance, and resources for newcomers. Otter Tail County and Mahube-Otwa lead the programming and implementation for the center.

The Community Kitchen

A fully licensed commercial kitchen open to entrepreneurs, caterers, event hosts, and community groups. The Community Kitchen fuels local food businesses, serves as a hub for shared meals, and celebrates culture through cuisine.

The Youth Center

The Bridge Center’s youth center will be a space where young people don’t just participate—they lead. With mentorship, life planning tools, leadership training, and creative outlets, youth shape programs, design events, and make their voices heard.
