From Vision to Reality: The Bridge Center is Coming to Life
Hello friends and neighbors,
My name is Dan Kramer, Facilities Chair for The Bridge Center, and I’m thrilled to share some big updates on the progress of our planned community center.
First, a huge thank you to Stematic out of Fargo for completing a successful mold remediation project on the property. With that important work finished, we were able to move forward confidently to the next phase. We also now have a brand-new HVAC system installed by Hanson’s Heating of Pelican Rapids, MN—an essential step in making sure the facility will be safe, comfortable, and welcoming for all who walk through its doors.
Looking ahead, we’re excited about the proposed new curb work with ZB Concrete of Pelican Rapids, which will help improve accessibility and create a polished, inviting exterior.
On the planning side, we’ve been working with Richard Graves from the University of Minnesota, who has helped us bring our vision for the Bridge Center to life through floor plans, 3D renderings, and detailed cost estimates. These tools are shaping the future of the center in tangible and inspiring ways.
Even more exciting, we are coordinating closely with Otter Tail County representatives to launch our new Family Resource Center (FRC) within the Bridge Center. This vital addition is slated for completion by the end of 2026 and will serve as a cornerstone for families in our community.
Momentum is building, and every step brings us closer to making the Bridge Center a reality. Thank you to all the local businesses, partners, and community members who continue to support this project—we’re building something amazing together!
